Job done for Richie at Lothian Flyer

Posted on 18th June, 2012

Richie Provan completed his main objective for this season by finishing 5th in Edinburgh Road Clubs Lothian Flyer Road Race  and gaining enough points to qualify for his 3rd Cat license. Paul Friel also rode  well and finished 12th.  Well done lads!

In TT action on Saturday were Jamie Kennedy and Jim Cusick who took first and second in the SVTTA 25 at Stirling.  Despite the dismal stormy conditions both Couriers recorded 54s over the notoriously slow Stirling- Buchlyvie course, which as well as being 'a bit lumpy' out at the turn is also, according to Davie Millar,  about a quarter of a mile long. No wonder wee Davie stayed in bed!
